What to know before your treatment and how to care for your skin afterward.

Skip that glass of wine or opt for mocktails the day before to minimize bruising.
Avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin, which can also lead to bruising so stop those at least 2 days before treatment, unless directed by your doctor.
Avoid supplements with essential fatty acids like fish oil at least 2 days before treatment to help minimize bruising.
Wait at least 4 weeks after any medical injections, vaccines, or dental procedures before your filler appointment.
Stay upright for the first 6 hours and avoid touching the areas treated. This prevents the filler from migrating.
Take a rest from the gym for the next 2 days. Intense workouts and saunas can also cause the filler to migrate.
